UM CONSTI TEAM

The University of Malaya Consti Team (UMCT) is a voluntary organisation led by dedicated law students from the University of Malaya. UMCT is committed to advancing constitutional literacy and embedding the principles of constitutionalism within both emerging legal professionals and the broader public. This is achieved through a blend of educational endeavours, social engagements, and innovative "edu-entertainment" methods.

UMCT offers a diverse array of high-quality content designed to enhance understanding of the Constitution. Their initiatives include the production of bulletins, detailed legal series, visually engaging infographics, informative podcasts, and educational TikTok videos. Central to their team is the Consti Bulletin, a flagship publication developed in close collaboration with the Constitutional Literacy Initiative (CLI), a joint effort between the Malaysian Bar and the Faculty of Law at the University of Malaya.

Recognising the importance of broader social issues, UMCT has expanded its focus to encompass human rights concerns. Their goal is to provide targeted support to marginalized communities. Through meticulously planned initiatives, UMCT has made significant strides in positively impacting society, underscoring their belief that effective action speaks louder than words.

UMCT is unwavering in its mission to promote constitutional patriotism among the Rakyat. The team's dedication to education, social engagement, and impactful initiatives underscores their commitment to upholding the supremacy of the Constitution.
